Engineering Failure Analysis publishes research papers describing the analysis of engineering failures and related research.

Documents concerning the structure, properties, and behavior of engineering materials are welcome, especially those that also include detailed application of material parameters to problems in engineering structures, components, and design. In addition to the field of materials science, the interacting areas of engineering, manufacturing, aviation, civil, chemical, corrosion and design engineering are considered relevant. Activities should be aimed at analyzing technical faults and conducting research that will help reduce the number of failures and broaden the horizons of operating engineering materials.

Particular attention is paid to the mechanical properties of materials and their behavior under the influence of structure, process and environment. Metallic, polymeric, ceramic and natural materials All are included and the application of these materials to real engineering situations should be emphasized. Using the case study approach is also welcome.
