The scope of the journal includes theoretical and computational methods developed to solve problems in mechanics of deformable solids and fluid mechanics and their rational application in studying natural and technogeneous phenomena, technological processes, behavior of machines, engineering structures and mechanical constructions.
The journal publishes papers featuring theoretical grounds and application aspects of numerical methods (convergence, stability, error estimation, etc), construction of finite-dimensional analogues of continuous medium, and domain discretization. Papers dealing with the use of high-performance computers for numerical calculations, development of parallel computations, and comparative analysis of capabilities of different computer application programs are also encouraged.
The fee for publication is not charged.
